About Samudrik Shastra

भारत में भविष्य कथन की अनेकों पद्धतियां विद्यमान हैं। इन्हीं पद्धतियों में से एक है मनुष्य के अंगों और उसके लक्षण द्वारा भविष्य कथन करना। इस पद्धति का वर्णन "सामुद्रिक शास्त्र" में आता है।

Samudrik Shastra is the scripture of interpreting the features of the body and foretelling the future based on that. One can tell about the mental and emotional capacity of a person; about his inherent nature and about several incidents that will shape his future based on the clear signs on the body and its other aspects. This science is known as chiromancy or palmistry in English and ‘Sham-e-Kayaptaa’ in Urdu, meaning - ‘the art of reading the lines of the palm’. There are several branches of this great science, out of which palmistry is the most popular.

• Understanding body language: According to some Vedic scriptures, each part of our body has its own language that communicates crucial details about one’s behavior, personality, future, life experiences and emotional state. And, if these scriptures are to be believed then a person’s body is a walking mirror of his personality.
• Face reading: Speaking of mirror, what’s the first thing that catches your attention, when you look at a person? It’s their face. Their facial features become the most unforgettable aspect of their personality. Each face has its own unique structure, marks, lines, skin texture, etc.
• EyesBig rounded eyes indicate playful nature and insatiable need to cater and keep their surroundings and people happy with their behaviour. Women who have redness around the end of the white part of their eyes are very fortunate and enjoy worldly pleasures.
• Forehead: A woman who has five lines formed on her forehead, when she squinches her head lives a long healthy life. A woman with three to five lines is quite academically intelligent and brings honor to her family.
• Lips: Thick and rounded lips indicate quarrelsome temperament and a strong rage; she loses her temper at every little thing. A woman with thin lips is highly ambitious in nature and hard working towards her career. She’s always supportive of her family and husband in particular.
